OUR JOURNEY SO FAR.
Paul left school in 1976, aged 16, and became an apprentice to Robert (Bob) Wallace, Hatton Garden craftsman and talented goldsmith. During Paul’s five-year apprenticeship at Quayside Jewellers, he made all types of jewellery - from simple cut-out pendants to bespoke tiaras and cocktail rings. He works with platinum, gold and silver.
Paul’s first premises were within Barretts of St Neots. With a permanent flow of people into the shop, Paul developed a loyal customer base. The business grew, and in 1997, Paul moved to a retail unit in Cross Keys Mews.
In 2016, Goldstraw Goldsmiths expanded into a new shop - 14 High Street, St Neots.
This move marked the next chapter for Goldstraw Goldsmiths, with larger premises, more staff and a modern feel.
With a prominent position in the town centre, we have opened our doors to many more people and brought more new stock and services to our valued customers.
